The Manchester Craft Mafia are here to stay. They are a group of craft businesses dedicated to supporting and sharing a creative, maverick spirit of crafting in Manchester, Greater Manchester and beyond.
They want to help kick-start the new wave of entrepreneurial crafters sacking the rat race and finding other ways to make a living - people crafting en masse and in public and anyone hiding an inner crafter and everyone who just loves buying, finding or making something that bit different. Thats what they say anyay. Mike Dawson went down to central Manchester to one of the most popular nights to make something for himself with disasterous results. Thankfully there was some real talent around in the shape of organiser Nico and the award winning chris.
