George Bush is currently on a peace crusade in the Middle East calling for an end to occupation by Isreal and all parties to come to the table. Lest we forget the stance he took with our very own Tony Blair when Isreal was bombing civilian targets and infastructure in the Lebanon. Noting that one miltary jet killed two young boys, in the aftermath the states pledged 30 million dollars in aid. 15 million short of the cost of just one of the 29 jets sold to Isreal by them. Ironic indeed. Mike Dawson attempted to interview Marc Sirois from the heart of Beruit in the middle of the conflict but telephones were down. The interview was conducted by email.
